Malardshir Agricultural & Livestock Company
Malardshir Company began its operations in 1954 with private sector investment and 100 breeding cows. Over the following years, this unit gradually expanded and was approved by the Iran Veterinary Organization in 1986 with a capacity of 2,272 heads of cows and calves. In 1987, its ownership and management were transferred to the Tamin Agricultural and Dairy Investment Company (SHASTA), and in 2002, its name was changed to Malardshir Agricultural and Livestock Company. With the construction of a new livestock farm in Nazarabad County and the transfer of animals to this unit, the company was registered in 2012 in Nazarabad County, Alborz Province, under registration number 2943.
With an area exceeding 200 hectares and 6,500 heads of livestock, Malardshir has become one of the large and leading units in Iran's agricultural and livestock industry. In 2020, the company entered the over-the-counter (OTC) market and currently operates as a public joint-stock company in the capital market under the symbol "Zemard."
Malardshir Company, producing over 120 tons of milk daily, is considered one of the largest producers of cow's milk in Iran and includes 200 active personnel.
